May 12th, 2012 - Clay entered a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event on Saturday night at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). Twenty cars entered the event, and Fisher qualified eighth fastest in his group in time trials to earn the fifteenth starting spot for the 50 lap, main event. By lap 16, when the caution flag flew for rain, Fisher was already up to the ninth position. The rain began to intensify forcing officials to declare the event complete, so Fisher was credited with a ninth place finish. Full results are available at www.GreenvilleSpeedway.net.

April 28th, 2012 - The team resumed the 2012 campaign on Saturday night with a Weekly Racing Series Event at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). After not starting his heat race, Clay started eighth on the grid for the feature before advancing to a fourth place finish behind race winner, Doug Showah, Greg Fore, and Bo Gordon. 1April 14th, 2012 - Clay took part in a pair of COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model events over the weekend in the state of Arkansas. Friday night found the team at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) in a $2,000-to-win, 30 lap event. With a talented field of twenty-nine competitors registered for action Fisher locked into the feature via heat race action. In the main event on the big, 3/8 mile oval he would battle for the fifth spot for much of the event with Brandon Smith before registering a sixth place finish at the checkered flag behind race winner, Billy Moyer, RC Whitwell, Billy Moyer Jr., Robert Baker, and Brandon Smith.

On Saturday night, Fisher would not have very good luck as he raced at Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas). Twenty-four cars registered for battle, and after finishing fourth in his b-main, he would start 18th in the feature. He was running around mid-pack late in the event when contact from another car sent him off the backstretch, through the corner of a building and into the base of the pit grandstands. Luckily he nor any spectators were injured, but his car was all but destroyed. Full results are available at www.COMPDirt.com.

March 24th, 2012 - Saturday night found Clay at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for another $2,000-to-win, COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) 1event. With a talent-laden field of 32 cars on hand for the program, Fisher began his night by advancing from the eighth starting spot in his heat race to a fourth place finish. He accumulated enough passing points to lock into the ninth starting spot for the feature. For the first half of the 35 lap affair Fisher would battle in the top ten before belt issues forced him pitside to a disappointing 20th place finish. Full results are available at www.COMPDirt.com.

March 23rd, 2012 - Clay opened his 2012 campaign on Friday night at USA Speedway (Sterlington, Louisiana) with a $2,000-to-win event with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). Twenty-seven cars entered the event, and in heat race action Fisher finished second to lock into the ninth starting spot for the 35 lap feature. With predominantly a one-grooved track in the feature Clay would still manage to advance two spots to a seventh place finish at the checkered flag. Full results are available at www.COMPDirt.com.

Clay is planning for the 2012 season, which will see him entering various events across thte Southeast. November 5th, 2011 - After almost a one month break, Clay returned to action in his final event of the 2011 season as he entered the 5th Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). Thirty-five Super Late Models were on hand, and after struggling in time trials on Friday night, he started seventh in the second heat race. He would be unable to make up any ground in the heat as he finished in the seventh position. With only the top four cars moving on to the feature he was relegated to a b-main on Saturday night, where he started in the sixth position. He would work his way to a fourth place finish in the b-main, which left him short of a transfer to the feature, but earned him a spot in the last chance qualifier's dash. In the dash he would race his way forward to a transfer spot by the race's midway point. However, a late race restart saw him slip backwards, and he would fall short of a transfer to the feature, bringing his weekend to an early end. October 8th, 2011 - On the heels of a good run the weekend before, Clay looked to carry his momentum into Saturday night's COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) event at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas). Thirty-five Super Late Models entered the 5th Annual Midsouth Dirt Track Championship, and after qualifying second fastest in his group, he started on the pole of his heat race before finishing second to Jon Kirby.

Via his heat race performance, Fisher started 8th on the grid in the feature. Early in the main event he would dodge a handful of cautions. As the race finally settled into a long, green flag run he would his stride as he advanced three spots to finish fifth behind race winner, Wendell Wallace, Shane Harris, Jamie Dacus, and Dewayne Kiefer. October 1st, 2011 - After a one month break, Clay returned to action on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) in a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event. With 23 cars entered Fisher started eighth in his heat race and advanced to a sixth place finish. He fell just short of earning enough passing points to lock into the feature, and as a result, he ran a b-main where he finished second to earn the sixteenth starting spot for the feature. A racey surface would great the competitors for the 35 lap feature, and Fisher would race his way through the field to an 8th place finish, which earned him the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award.
